That is one major thing I forgot to factor in, however it vastly depends on which specific regional model is available to you as some come with the 3 cell battery which is a lot smaller than the 6 cell batter.

I would recommend that you pop over to your local HP site (the main site is http://www.hp.com) and click on your region and see what is available.

Hi, Stuart, Great review…but did I miss the weight and size-dimension stats? These are an issue for me, and I’m looking at the eee PC also related to these. Haven’t seen either, in person yet, but planning to.

Hi John,
I have found that if you do not have wifi on etc you should be able to get around 4 or 4.5 hours. With wireless on you might find that drop to about 3. Although this really does depend on a number of factors such as the actual hardware configuration and the like but just as a rough guide you could go by that.

Does anyone know how long the 6 cell battery will last for ordinary typing jobs (Word/Excel)?

Like you I too use a DELL D620 and do quite a bit of field work using the Ethernet LAN port and one beef I have is that the DELL disables the Ethernet port when the AC power is disconnected. I can change that, until I boot next time, and then it powers it off again. Does the 2133 support an active Ethernet NIC without AC power?
